Arizona Superheros

SciFi Channel has a reality series, “Who Wants to be a Superhero?”. In this series, people who’ve dreamed of being a comic book superhero can now do so, by competing against other superhero wannabes in a contest judged by none other than Stan Lee. The winner will even get a comic book about his character.

SciFi Channel fans weren’t sure what to make of this show, but it exceeded all ratings projections at the time, and you know what that means.

Get ready for Season 2!

While doing my due diligence in poking around for stories to cover on Slice of SciFi, I discover that tryouts for Superhero Season 2 are going to be held in several malls around the country… and they’ll be here in Phoenix the weekend of February 3-4.

So yes, we’re very likely to go cover the event, and see if we can’t talk to some potential contestants.

Well, I think you should try out! “Super Summer”! or maybe “Summer All Year Long”!

Not to mention Summer in tights would be good.

  2. Summer says:

Wait! I’m not trying out for the show! It’s so anti-Ninja!
